Cheeks to Cheeks

Last Saturday (April 17, 2010) the girls woke up super early and Daddy & Mommy decided to sleep in a little bit. Both of them decided to play in their room for a bit and even took the liberty to go downstairs to play with their toys and other stuff in the playroom. After a good 15 to 30 minutes they came up to our room, giggling away and say, “Look, Mommy and Daddy!” This  is what we saw…………

Both in their swimwear and “war paint” on their faces. We didn’t know whether to laugh or be mad at them. I’m sure they will appreciate these photos when they are a lot older.

Today we called Gong Gong, Popo and Yee Po. Why?

Because Belle said, “I miss my Gong Gong.” “I miss Popo.” “I miss Yee Po.”

So, as a dutiful Mom/Daughter/Niece, I made calls out to all three important people just so missy here could tell them she misses them. Without doubt it made their day a lot brighter.

And she would say that with a definite tone. Belle is going through the Princess phase now. It isn’t a bad thing after all ‘cos we (the parents) get to use the word Princess as an excuse.

Our little bunny…

All the kids in daycare went home with a bunny hat and a bag of eggs on the Friday before Easter. Belle looks so cute here. I took this pics on our way to Jenn & Steve’s house.

Gigi’s mom (Belle’s grandaunt) got her this dress from Shanghai. I have paired it up with the stockings I bought from Gap Kids. She looks so lady-like here. How I wish her hair is longer. She will definitely look very girly with her hair tied up.

I can tell Baby C will be a baby who loves to eat. We call these kind of people wai sic mao (Cantonese: cat that loves to eat aka someone who loves food). Whenever it is near breakfast, lunch or dinner time, she will be kicking and punching furiously for food. She will only be content after I have eaten something. That said, I have to brace myself for immediate crying (for milk) when she arrives. If she is anything like her sister, Belle, she might be another purple-faced baby.

Belle used to cry and cry till her face turned purple whenever she was hungry. The very instant I plop my boob (tit) into her mouth she would suck furiously. Have you ever seen a purple-faced baby? Hehe…no? Here’s one… Read the rest of this entry »

Remember the photo of Chase and Belle?

I found another photo taken when Belle was 2 months old and Chase was 7 months old.

Look at my Belle, she was such an ugly duckling.

Sasha did a wonderful scrap for Belle…

It’s a amazing how she can get it done within hours! I’m very impressed.

Sasha is quite a popular belle in the M’sian blogosphere. She’s very popular in her other blog but I prefer her son’s blog. I’ve also heard she has quite a chili padi (Malay: small chillies; extremely spicy) personality. That’s the type of person I like: direct and to the point.  We can’t wait to meet up with you, Sasha. When will that be? Oooh..mebbe in another 2 years.
