After having 2 kids, going to the swimwear department is the last thing I wanna do. No, it isn’t because I don’t have the time to shop. We women love to give any type of excuse just to shop, don’t we? The fact is, it is difficult to look at myself in front of the mirror; a 20 lbs more heavier me in a swimsuit. I hate trying out swimsuits ‘cos I will be stuck in the changing room for hours just to find something that 1) fits me 2) makes me look 20 lbs slimmer (okay, that’s far fetched).

So, why am I writing about swimsuit today? Well, I know there is a contest out there and the prize is $100 Gift Cert for a customized swimsuit from Lands’ End. This year everyone needs to put a big read circle on May 11th. What is so important, huh? No,  it isn’t my birthday. It is a very special for all moms. Yes, you have guessed it right, it is mother’s day!

For the past years I have ordered flowers online for my mom. It is so easy and my mom gets the flowers on time. I remember when I was little, I used to go to the wet market with my dad to pick out pink carnations for mom. I always get 3 stalks not because I am cheap (well, I didn’t get much for pocket money) but 3 stalks signify the words I Love You. That was my way of telling my mom I love her.  Why carnations? I am sure a lot of you have seen the video I had made for the Freeze It contest. My husband, Jon, was a sport and I love him to death for being who he is. This time I am going to write about the real injury he has sustained from a freak accident during a basketball game and why I think he deserves to a year supply of Freeze It Gel. Every now and then, especially during cold season, he will complain about his sore knee. We tried everything from heat pad to ointment like Deep Heat but it did not help much.
