1st year is (Toilet) Paper
2nd year is Cotton (Underpants)
3rd year is Leather (Whip)
4th year is Linen (Napkins to spruce up the new house)
5th year is Wood (That’s his department )
6th year is Iron (Wok to fill his tummy)
7th year is Wool (A trip to Ireland to see woolly sheep)
8th year is Bronze

It has been 8 years since we’d signed on that dotted line and gifts are getting harder to find. I guess the husband will just have to settle with a cool bronze-colored beer. Happy Anniversary, dear!

Last night Jon told me 24 hrs Fitness is having a deal: $20/month membership fee. Is he implying I’m fat?? Well, the truth is, I haven’t had a good workout session since I gave birth to Belle. That is like *counting fingers* 3 years of no vigorous exercising.

So I asked him, “When will it be a good time for me to go to 24 hrs Fitness?” He replied, “Weekend.” Ah, my dear husband, don’t you know your wife can’t go workout by herself…alone? I’m the type who needs a friend to tag along to the gym. I prefer to get that kind of motivation. Furthermore, working out alone is no fun. I’m waaaay past the stage where I get to flirt with hot muscular men.

So, am I gonna join the gym membership? *shrug shoulders* I really don’t know. I know some people would take the fast way out by using Fentraphen; but I still prefer the old fashion way, cardio-exercise. So, we shall see.

A bunch of goofers? That’s us! The shots of Jon and I are by Belle. Pretty good for a toddler, ain’t it?

We can’t wait for Cassie to be older. It will be double the fun! Now you know where Belle got her goofy genes from.

This was taken a while back and I still haven’t shed much weight. The other day I was telling Jon how fair my feet were and he said, “Oh yea!” Then he asked me right away, “Oh, you meant fair, right?” Yup, the man heard it wrongly. He thought I said how FAT I was. Hrmph! Did he apologise?! Heck no! He just laughed…hysterically. What a meanie!

Jon send me a link, www.dwr.com, and told me his lady boss said this site is cool and we should get our furnitures that are on sale.

I browsed the site and click on “SALE.” Yup, you will not see me buy stuff that are not on sale.

I went… o_O

I replied to Jon this:

lotsa_cheeks: a freaking ice tong for $36?!!!!!
lotsa_fat: hehe

Some people sure have a lot of money to burn. I for one will not buy a freakin ice tong for 36 bucks!!! Would you?

*RM5 is Ringgit Malaysia, equivalent to USD 1.50

Yup, my hubby is a sport and yes, I’m proud to be his wife. If you’re wondering what I will do with my earnings for this post, it’s all for the family. That means it is for him, our daughter(s) and myself. Those who have met Jon before will know his humor and fun personality. Why do you think I marry this guy? Obviously he makes me laugh all the time.

So, if any advertisers want my hubby to be in their ads, give me a ring. *wink*

At times it is good to be able to write paid post that really endears me. I have a few single friends who kept asking me how to find a good significant other and how did I know my husband was the one for me. It was really difficult for me to give them a clear cut step-by-step method to find the “right person.”  After all, everyone’s preference is different.

I dare to say I have struck the lottery as I can’t find anyone in the world that will treat me as good as my husband. Some times we may not disagree on things but we manage to work things out because this is what a relationship ought to be about. I always jokingly tell my female friends, “if both of you can fart around each other without feeling embarrass about it, you are meant to be together.” In my opinion, laughter and feeling comfortable with each other are the key points for a happy relationship.
