Moonlight Resonance

I can’t thank my good blogger friend, Mamabok, enough for providing the links to the latest TVB series, Moonlight Resonance. I’ve managed to catch up on the series and can’t wait to watch episode 34 around 11.30am.

11.30am is my 1st pumping session. :D Nowadays, I have been bringing my laptop into the private room and watch TVB series while I pump. My pumping session has become more enjoyable.

I’ve also told my sister (who’s in Dublin) about this series and gave her the link to it. I just hope she concentrates on her studies and not watch too much Cantonese series..hehe. She can be a movie addict.

If you want to watch Moonlight Resonance, just click here and remember to thank Mamabok. I know I would not move my lazy arse to search for chinese movies/series…but Mamabok took the time and effort to search for movie links. She knows how it is like to be in a Western country and have no easy access to chinese movies/series. Thanks, Jan! :)

The Mist: Coming soon in Nov 21

Are you a fan of thriller and suspenseful movie? If you are, you will know who Stephen King is. He is the King of Horror Novels and many of his novels have been made into movies. This coming November 21st, another thriller movie (based on his book) is coming out.

The Mist by Stephen King reminded me of the time my friends and I were on a road trip to Chicago. We overshot our exit and ended in a run-down town. What I meant by run-down is, all the stores have protective grills and bars on their windows and doors. Now, wouldn’t that indicate the town is unsafe?

We were so lost and we had a male driver that night. Yup, as typical as any guy, our driver refused to stop for direction. Thinking back now, his ignorance or rather male-chauvinism served the purpose. In the end, everyone was fussy and tired. We were about to tear his head off if he did not give in to our request to stop at the gas station for direction. While we were cruising along the neighborhood, hoping to see a gas station, we saw people coming out from their houses. They looked scary and dangerous. It wasn’t like one or two people who came out. They came out in herds. That situation reminded us of all the gangster movies we watched on TV.

Luckily for us, we found a gas station and just our luck, there was a cop car there. Our driver stopped the car and was about to step out but the police officer was already walking toward our car. I remember vividly what he said.

Cop: What are you young folks doing here?
Driver: We took the wrong exit and got lost.
Cop: *gave us the direction* Okay, you folks better get out of here fast. This place isn’t safe for y’all (meaning a bunch of Asians)

Upon hearing that we got what he meant and quickly sped off. That night we started off being angry at our driver friend (for being stubborn), then scared for our safety and later ended up being thankful that nothing happened to us. People react differently when fear and uncertainty sink in. This is what The Mist is about. Watch out for this movie on November 21st.
