~Another backdated post. Note: stool isn’t tahi, okay?
~
I swear, this girl learns new trick easily and I have no idea where she had learned this from. She has managed to figure out that her stool is a useful item. This was what she did last Sunday…

Smart, eh?

~Another late post. Our trip photos will be up shortly!~
Belle did something funny last Sunday. Lately she loves to sit in small areas like a box, laundry basket and last Sunday it was her stool. She turned her stool over and squeezed her chubby bums into it.

Look at her, she thought it was funny. She even gave us the cheeky grin/smile. After a few seconds, she tried to get out from the stool. This is the pic we shot…

She couldn’t get out!

And where were Mommy and Daddy?? We were so bad, instead of rescuing her, we were busy laughing our heads off! Kakakakakakaka!!!

~A back-dated post before our trip to M’sia~
Last Sunday we had to go to the Coach store to get some handbags for my aunt and mom. Belle decided to do a little “shopping” herself too…
Look at her, strutting off to nowhere with the handbag. This girl has got some expensive taste!

She did her little catwalk around the store. I think Coach need to hire my girl as their mini model..hehe.

More walking and refuse to let me hold her hand. She just love that handbag.

A pic of her showing her handbag at the display window. She is sucha poser!

This girl is so greedy. Not only she wanted one bag, she needed two! Belle is gonna break her daddy’s bank pretty soon.

This is a long overdued post. There are so many pics of our trip from M’sia and Shanghai but I will wait till I’m back in the States. My folks’ connection is still via phone line and it is so friggin slow. Many events happened; some are good and some, well, not so great.
The Good:
Belle is having a swell time at M’sia and her trip to Shanghai was fun for her too. During the first couple of weeks she wasn’t feeling well and was overwhelmed by many new faces. Belle had a bladder infection right before our trip started. I have blogged earlier about the dreadful flight at the previous post. After she had arrived at KL, she started to have allergic reaction to the antibiotics. We had to call her doc middle of the night and was told to stop giving her the meds. Thankfully, all was well after a few days.
Belle celebrated her b’day at my parents’ house and boy, was it a grand party. My folks invited about 160 people for the party. Pictures will be uploaded later.
We went to Penang with my in-laws and Jon’s relatives from Shanghai and Hong Kong. Met up with Michelle and Domestic Goddess. Timothy was sucha shy boy (pics can be seen at Michelle’s blog). Belle was still going thru her stranger anxiety but that only applies to adults..hehe. DG had to send her kids home ‘cos she claimed they were rowdy. We had Michelle to thank to as she drove us back and forth from the hotel to Gurney Plaza. Both ladies were so gracious to make time (it was during the weekday) to meet up with us. It was a pity Domestic Rat couldn’t make it, we would have a swell time catching up about her wedding.
The Shanghai trip was tiring but well spent. We ate so much to the point we were sick of eating out all the time. We met up with all of Jon’s relatives and Belle got to meet her great grandma and played with her cousins. My cousin moved to Shanghai for work and brought along his wife and daughter. His condo at Pudong area is so luxurious. If I ever move back to Shanghai I would wanna stay in that community.
The Bad:
Besides Belle gotten sick the first time, she caught the flu bug after her Shanghai trip. Jon caught that bug too. Luckily for me, both of them are recovering from it. Belle still has to continue antibiotic meds for the previous bladder infection. The pediatrician from Assunta Hospital prescribed another type of antibiotics for her and she doesn’t have any allergic reaction to it. The doc recommended to have her finish the entire course of meds as bladder infection isn’t a small matter. The doc back in the States told us some kids would have a bladder infection w/o the parents awareness. Bladder infection will cause high fever and some parents might disregard it as just mere fever. If undetected and recurs it may damage the kidneys. That is one of the reasons why some adults are prone to kidney disease.
On our trip back from Shanghai we lost our #2. We went to Assunta Hospital last Thursday to check on the fetus and there wasn’t any heartbeat. I was scheduled for a D&C the following day. Thankfully we’re in M’sia as my mom can cook the necessary food for me to heal back my health. It happened so fast I have yet to have time to grief. In a way I’m glad we found out earlier. Probably it wasn’t meant to be for us to have #2 yet. Anyway, all’s well now. I still have Belle to concentrate on.
Aiyo, this girl is already making my kepala pusing (Malay: head spinned, figuratively speaking). Will blog more later. Will be making a trip to my dad’s hometown at Kampar tomorrow morning.

Rule #1 for travelling with an infant:
NEVER EVER TRAVEL WITH A SICK INFANT!
I can and will stress that 10,000 times! Belle had a fever before we started our trip and was running through it from the time the plane took off and landed at Hong Kong. Throughout the entire plane course she refused to let us sit down and wanted us (90% of the time was ME) to carry her. Whenever our bottoms touched the seat, she will cry out loud. We had to feed her Infant Motrin to suppress her fever and carry her on our arms to sleep. We had an extra seat just for her but ended up not utilizing it.
Thank goodness Hong Kong airport has shower areas. We had to pay US$ 10 per adult. Infant is free. They provided the towel, shampoo and shower gel. There was even an area where we could blow dry our hair with the blow dryer. The only mistake I made was not hand carrying a comb and facial moisturizer with me. Nonetheless, that was one wise decision we made. Belle felt so much better after the shower. We we had landed at HKG, she refused to sit on her stroller but after the shower she was so willing to let us plop her down.
The flight back to KL wasn’t as bad as the previous flight. She began to open up to the air stewardess and to the Indian amah next to us. Lucky for us, she didn’t suffer much from the cabin pressure during taking off and landing. I on the other hand had the most excruciating ear pressure ache. I had a slight cold and when the nasal passage is blocked, the pressure from the nose and ears was so much greater. Even till today, my ears are kinda block and at certain times would pop and I could hear clearer.
I’m just glad that we’re here and Belle is okay (althougth we had to stop her antibiotics med as she had developed a rash). Tonight is Belle’s birthday party (again).
Will blog more later. My folks are still on dial up. Aiyo, so damn slow the connection here. ![]()
