Belle laughed so loud and hard she ended up with a hoarse voice the following day.

I got tricked by a 17-mth old today. Not only did I fall into that trick once, I was so gullible, I was tricked the second time round.

This morning when I was awaken by Belle…

Belle: ngmm ngmm (I wanna go poop!)

Mom: You wanna go ngmm ngmm?!?

Belle: ngmm ngmm *nodding her head*

What did mom do? She jolted from the bed, carry her 17-mth turning 18-mth old child to the bathroom. She quickly pulled down her daughter’s pants, undid the diapers and plopped her 25 lbs (or maybe more) child onto her new toilet seat.

What did her daughter do?

She didn’t poop. Instead, she pee’d. She refused to poop.

Last night I had a funny conversation with my friend, JoAnn, via instant messaging. We were exchanging stories on how naughty our kids are. Her boy, Brandon, is 7 months older than Belle. It dawned on me that majority of the people I know who have kids born in the year of 2005 complained how energetic and mischievious their kids are.

I told Jo about and it. She scoffed and said, 2005 was the year of the Forest/Wood (?) Rooster mah! So, all these kids are like ??*!

*Shan gai; wild chicken; in this context it means unruly children

I’ve decided to put Belle on the toilet bowl whenever she has to poop. I’ve bought 2 toilet seats with Dora the Explorer animation-print for our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms.

So far we have been pretty successful with it. Belle has begun to give us warning whenever she feels like poo-poo; and she has done it successfully 4 times in a row! Woohoo!

I guess her potty training is starting sooner than expected.

So, do you guys/gals like my link banners? Pretty cool, huh? I haven’t asked for permission from most of you, but I’m sure you wouldn’t mind.

For those I haven’t had a banner pic of your blog, that means I haven’t found the “right” photo. Matter of fact, those who have 2 kids, please send me a nice close up pic of your darlings. I’ve been scouring your blog(s) and couldn’t find pics (good ones) of both the kids together. Unless you want me to photoshop it like what I did to Faythe & Vyktore. Mind you, my photoshop skill is extremely limited. Oh, and those “mysterious” bloggers, pls send me a pic of your fav photo too.

Belle: Aah! *opens mouth*

Belle: Sheesssh…

Mommy: Aiyo, this is not sh*t, it’s ice-cream!

Gawd, what have I done??

Finally, the last piece of ice-cream cake from my dad’s birthday.

Mommy: Bee, you want ice-cream?

Belle: Yea!

(Hmm, she always say Yea to everything, let’s try this…)

Mommy: Bee, you want sh*t?

Belle: Sheeesh

Darn, can’t trick this girl. She is too smart.

Mommy: Belle, you love mommy?

Belle: Yea

Mommy: Belle, you love daddy?

Belle: Yea

Mommy: Belle, you love Junior?

Belle: Yea

Mommy: Belle, you love Popo?

Belle: Popo

Mommy: Belle, you love Gong Gong?

Belle: Toto

Mommy: Belle, you love Ah Yi?

Belle: bru-le-bli *gibberish*

Mommy: Belle, you love Ya Ya?

Belle: Ya Ya

Mommy: Belle, you love Nai Nai?

Belle: Nai Nai

Conclusion: Ah Yi (Cantonese: younger aunt) needs to work harder on getting Belle to love you.
