My overzealous artist

Belle tested my patience with her this afternoon. She took an orange color pencil and decided to give a little vibrant splash on my white wall. I was so mad with her and I actually said these words to her when I was washing the wall, “Stay away from me!”

When those words came out I kinda regretted yelling at her. I should have been more patient with her but in the heat of the moment those words blurted out. She scurried away immediately upon hearing it. I guess she has never seen me that angry before. To add more oil into the fire, she went to the bathroom and brought out the toilet bowl brush to me. I know, I know, she meant to help me and thought the brush would help BUT it didn’t help with my temper. I told her sternly to put the brush back. My voice must have been booming like a baritone ‘cos she took a step back upon hearing it.

After 15 to 20 minutes of washing the wall she came to me and hug me from my back. All my steam went poof into thin air. I told her calmly what she did is wrong and asked if she would do it again. She shook her head no. *sigh of relief*

A mental note to myself: Take a deep breath before muttering anything in front of my child.

Freeze It for your Frozen position

Freeze It is great for aches and pains caused by muscle strain or arthritis. My husband always use Freeze It whenever he’s in a “freezed up” position. Yup, this 30+ year old man still thinks he is as agile as his daughter; but the truth is, he isn’t.

Freeze It gives instant topical pain relief whenever the spouse’s muscles are strained. Below is a video to prove it…

Freeze It, you definitely can’t live without it when you have children.

Which bag is the real I’m Not a Plastic Bag?

Ready for the answer to this post? If not, read that post first before reading this.

If you have read about the I’m Not a Plastic Bag from Anya Hindmarch’s website or even google it, you will know there are about 3 colors (trimmings & wordings) for this bag. The bag designated for U.S. is in Blue. So, if you have choosen B as your answer, you’re wrong.

That leaves A or D.

For those of you who actually read my blog will know the doors in my house are white and with golden door knobs. Therefore, the answer to my question, Which is the authentic I’m Not a Plastic Bag?, is no other than D.

I can’t tell the difference from the fake ones. If you do, please point it out by leaving a comment here.

**I took the other photos from her and her. Thanks, ladies!

Thinking of re-doing the Garage

Ever since we moved in to our house, we did not do anything to the garage. We are still using the rickity shelvings that were installed by the previous owners. If given time and extra money, we definitely need to re-do our garage. We have been eyeing on some metal cabinets. These cabinets will definitely make our garage clutter-free. CarGuyGarage.com seem to have the perfect 10-piece organization garage for our 3-door garage. We don’t need a lot of cabinets but we do need at least ten to store the gardening tools, tool parts and different type of oils for the car/lawn mover. Yup, if we have the extra time and money, we will consider purchasing that.

Black Friday

Man, I’m so mad!

When I walked out from the office this afternoon, I found out my car’s back bumper had a long white scratch. The damage isn’t only there. Near the back right door was a big dent too! I parked my car in the company’s parking lot and that means, this was done by one of my co-workers. *fuming mad*

Whoever did that should have left a note and we can deal with it in private. But NOOOO, it was a hit-and-run. Luckily I had 2 other co-workers as my witnesses. They saw the dent and scratch and concluded that whoever who hit my car drives a WHITE car.

After I came home, Jon and I examined the scratch and dent; and our conclusion is: WHITE SUV or MINIVAN. The dent was pretty high and only a big car can create that dent at that height. Next Monday I’m heading straight to our HR lady and complain. I will make her send out a mass email to all the employees about this. Jon told me to use the “scare tactic” as in if they don’t come and confess to me privately, I will hunt down the car and lodge a police report.

We have to use that tactic ’cos our car insurance is only liability coverage. *sigh* Hopefully I will be able to find that cilaka driver.

I’m Not a Plastic Bag: Which is the real deal?

My good friend, Thomas, whom I got to know during my college years at Iowa got the infamous I’m Not a Plastic Bag for me. He stood in line early in the morning for it too! Now, isn’t this a true friend? :D Well, I did hint to him this bag is a HUGE in thing to have from Europe to Asia. I also told him he could probably make some money by selling this authentic bag on eBay.

Anyway, back to the day he got this bag for me. He was such a sweet guy; he took a day off from work and actually woke up early in the morning, I think it was around 5am, and stood in line for few hours just to get a bag for me and my sister. Well, of course he brought help (his gf) too, to purchase other quantities. He told me they were allowed to purchase 2-3 bags per person that day. They stood in the drebby NYC drizzling rain for few mins but they were lucky to enter the building (Wholefoods Market) before it started to pour.

A few bloggers had bought the un-authentic bags and it tickled my curiousity to check out the difference. I’ve put 4 bags here, can you tell which one is the authentic I’m Not a Plastic Bag?

Answer will be revealed tomorrow. :)

The 3 Loves of my life (for now)

I love this photo a lot and it is very rare to see all 3 of them together like this.

Yes, it is a pity I am not in the photo. Oh well, we will try to get another photo all 4 of us together. If we don’t do that, we will just have to wait till Baby C joins us.

Another corporation, RC2 Corporation, had also announced possible recalls for 5 Thomas and Friends wooden toy trains. Please keep your eyes open for this future announcement if you own any Thomas and Friends wooden toy trains.

Let’s Get Smart Together with MyWallSt.net

When comes to stock trading, I am at the bottom of totem pole of Rookie. I always leave all the real trading roller coaster experiences for my husband but not anymore.  Now that I have joined MyWallSt.net, he will have to make way for me to join in the fun.

MyWallSt.net is a great way to read up on recent news on worldwide stock market. The best part is, once you have join their community, there are forums and you will be able to discuss or view topics that will affect the trading market such as Energy/Natural Resources, Healthcare/Bio-medical, Technology, etc. From there you can also form your own mini community with friends and family members within your profile. You and your friends can view each other watchlist and help make financial help as in stock pick recommendation. I also believe that the inner circle of friends/family will constantly watch out for each other; thus, will warn you of any error when comes to stock picking. After all, wealth are meant to be shared.

Don’t get me wrong, you still can get financial news and information through traditional publications. Stock market is so volatile and if you are planning to be a day trader, you will need immediate up to date news or buzz.

Come and join me in MyWallSt.net.
