$4 per Gallon

posted in Nonsensical ramblings |

It is $3.60 per gallon on the average for nationwide…BUT it’s over FOUR bucks in San Francisco! This is crazy! Yes, my friends, we’re talking about the black gold: OIL. We are in the middle of a recession now and they are talks of lowering the interest rate on Wednesday.

If you have extra cash to spare, it’s a great time to invest in US currency now. As for us, we might not be able to travel to Europe now ‘cos EURO is so damn strong. *sigh*

Okay, I’m gonna plant my face into my pint of Baskin Robbin ice-cream now. So depressed.

yes … the black gold that almost everyone will buy no matter what price it is. It is really crazy. I still remember back in those days where it was like 99 cents a gallon. I hope to see the price drop with the new president. Agree with Priscilla, everything is going up, rice, eggs, dairy, milk … but salary not going up as fast.

So true! And now with the rice shortage…lagi worse. I guess we Chinese have to start eating wheat based stuff.

yep. my hubby has started riding the bus quite often, even though the transit system is still a bit sparse in fort lauderdale.

when i told my son that we could “stick it to” the oil companies a bit by not buying gas, he was ALL FOR the idea of riding the bus! :-)

Don’t think we can use the public transportation here ‘cos it will take us twice the time (or even more) to reach the office. As of now, time is already precious. :)
