Babblesoft
I remember vividly the first three months we brought Belle home from the hospital. Breastfeeding was a challenge and pumping was a nightmare. I didn’t know how much Belle was consuming because she was literally latched onto my boobs 24/7. We were so afraid I wasn’t producing enough milk for her and at times I was not sure whether I had fed an hour before or two hours before. If only Babblesoft was invented three years ago, it would have made my life a lot easier. Now that I am a second time Mom, I pretty much have my breastfeeding and pumping schedules ingrained in my head. Nonetheless, I gave Babblesoft 15-day trial a try and I find it quite impressive.
First time mothers will benefit greatly from this baby software. It is great for mothers who are trying to establish breastfeeding while at work too. Without going into further details, the screen shot below with give a better understanding on how this software works.
Breastfeeding/Pump Schedule:
Has your baby’s Pediatrician asked you this question before, “How much does (baby’s name) consume each day?” I’m sure 10 out of 10 parents have been asked and most likely some of us guessed out the answer. With this baby software, you can track the amount your baby is consuming and the amount you pump each day. By the time your baby is up for her next check up, you have a report on hand to show the doctor.

You can track your baby’s feeding habit, sleep pattern and even bowel movement! All parents will agree we place great importance to bowel movement (baby that is). We fret when the baby does not poop as often, yet we fret if the baby poops too much. The only thing I find odd in this software the sleep pattern tracking. The concept is good but seriously, who would wake up middle of the night to key in the time when the baby wakes up or when the baby goes back to sleep? Like I said, it’s a great concept, especially for tracking nap times, but not feasible when comes to night sleeping.
Baby sleep pattern:

I would highly recommend it to first time parents only if the parents are 1) Stay at home Mom/Dad 2) Work from home Mom/Dad 3) Who has a caretaker who is savvy with computer. I listed #3 because my second child’s caretaker (during the day) is my Mother-in-law (MIL). My (MIL) does not read English; hence she will not be able to key in the necessary information. She could easily jot down the hours (and she is doing that currently) and have me key it in at the end of the day, but do you really think I have the time to do that? The answer is no. Anyway, as I have said previously, I pretty much have a clear understanding of my child’s feeding, sleeping and pooping pattern. Would I use Babblesoft? I probably would during my first year as a mother.
If you are a first time parent, give Babblesoft a try. They have a 15-day trial period and if you like it, you can purchase the software for further usage.
